Reading Analytics
Setting a Date Range
Click the date range in the top-right of the Email Analytics page to select a range of data to view. There are pre-defined date ranges to choose from, and fields to enter a custom date range. Once you set a date range, all data on the page will refresh to display the data from the selected time period.
Scoreboard
The Scoreboard spans the top of the Analytics page, and shows a snapshot of your email's numbers: emails Sent, the Open Rate of your email (in percent), Clicks on links within your email, and the number of folks who have Unsubscribed from your email.
Information Panes
The panes below the scoreboard break down your numbers a little bit more in-depth with various graphs; the data is collected in real time.
Sent
In the top-left, you'll see a graph for the number of emails sent. If you're sending a scheduled email to a list, you won't see much activity on this graph outside of the date on which you sent the email. However, if the email is an autoresponder, this graph is a good way to see how many people submitted your form on any given day.
Opens
In the top-right, you'll see a graph for the number of times your recipients have opened your email. You'll see the data here broken down into two sets; Opens, and Unique Opens. With this you can tell who has taken a look at the content of your email.
Clicks (Total)
In the bottom-right, you'll see a graph representing the number of times people have clicked on any of the links included in your email.
Clicks (by Link)
In the bottom-left, you'll see a list of all the different links in your email, and the corresponding number of time each link has been clicked by a visitor
Exporting Analytics
All of your Email Analytics data can be exported as a PDF. Find and click on the Export as PDF link directly under the Unsubscribe pane of the Scoreboard. The download process will begin automatically.
