Using Smart Labels in an Action Widget

Overview

Smart Labels are specific labels that you can assign to any widget. These labels simplify managing complex tasks involving Action Widgets, such as hiding or displaying multiple containers simultaneously.

Key Features:

• Flexibility: Assign the same label to multiple widgets or assign multiple labels to a single Widget.
• Efficiency: Reduce the need for multiple Action Widgets or long action lists. For example, you can hide several containers with a single action.

Using Smart Labels

Step 1: Assigning Smart Labels

To assign a Smart Label to a Widget:

1. Open the Widget’s settings.
2. Navigate to the Extras section.
3. Enter your label(s) in the Smart Label field.
4. Click Save and Exit.
5. Repeat this process for each Widget you wish to label.

Step 2: Using Smart Labels with Action Widgets

Creating an Action Widget with Smart Labels follows the same process as creating any other Action Widget. Here’s how:

Step 2.1: Create a New Action Widget

• Start by adding a new Action Widget to your campaign.

Step 2.2: Edit the Action Trigger ("WHEN" Section)

• Toggle the Target by Smart Label switch to enable Smart Label targeting.
• Once enabled, you’ll see the Smart Labels displayed in purple text.
  • To select a label: Type the label name in the field or click the widget with the desired label.
  • For multiple Smart Labels on a widget: Either click through the labels until the correct one is selected or type the specific label name in the field.

Step 2.3: Configure the "AND IF" and "THEN" Sections

• Use Smart Labels as needed to configure additional conditions ("AND IF") and actions ("THEN").
• Example:
  • Hide all Widgets labeled text.
  • Show all Widgets labeled footer when the form is successfully submitted.
