Billing FAQs

1. How do I upgrade my plan?

  1. From the Home page, click your name in the top-right menu.
  2. Select Account Summary.
  3. In the Current Plan section, click Change Plan.

2. How do I downgrade my plan?

  1. Go to Account Summary.
  2. Click Change Plan.
  3. Ensure you don’t exceed the entry limits of the desired plan. Exceeding limits will grey out that plan.

3. How do I stop billing?

You can either pause your payments or cancel the subscription. 

Pause Account: Retain content for up to 3 months.

Cancel Subscription: This cancels all future payments but keeps your account. You can upgrade to a paid account at any time.

  1. Log in to ShortStack.
  2. Click your name at the top right corner. 
  3. Select Account Summary in the drop-down menu.
  4. Click Pause or Cancel Subscription and follow the prompts. 

4. Can I get a refund?

Per our Terms and Conditions, payments made to Pancake for ShortStack accounts are generally non-refundable. However, we’re happy to review accidental overcharges!

  • Credit Card Users: Please contact support within 30 days of the charge. Note that our system can only process refunds for payments made within the last 90 days.

  • Invoice Users: Please reach out to us within 60 days of the error.

5. How much does ShortStack cost?

Plans are available on a monthly or annual basis, with annual subscriptions offering a 20% discount:

  • Launch: $29/month or $288/year
  • Build: $59/month or $588/year
  • Scale: $119/month or $1,188/year
  • Max: $199/month or $1,992/year
  • Enterprise: Custom pricing

6. Where can I find a breakdown of costs?

ShortStack’s invoices show monthly or annual charges and charges for additional Team Member Seats. No hidden fees or taxes apply.

7. Where can I download my invoice or statement?

  1. Log in to your ShortStack account.
  2. From the Home page, click your name.
  3. Select Account Summary.
  4. Click Statements at the top.
  5. Click a statement's date to view or download it.

8. Do you offer a Non-Profit Organization discount? 

Yes, we offer vetted NPOs a 50% discount on plans. If you are a non-profit organization, please email us at support@shortstack.com.
