These features available on the Pro Plan
Getting There
To view all of the custom domains you are currently using in your account: From the Home screen, click on Manage in the main menu, then select Custom Domains from the drop-down. Or, if you've favorited the Custom Domains Manager, simply click Domains in the top bar of the Home screen.
Note: For information on setting up a domain for use in publishing your campaigns, make sure to check out the Custom Domains, Subdomains, and Subfolders for Campaigns help doc.
Layout
In the Custom Domains Manager, you can view all the custom domains that you've established for publishing campaigns.
If you'd like to favorite the Custom Domains Manager (which adds a direct link to the manager to the top of your Home screen) click the heart icon to the right of the Custom Domains title at the top of your screen. To remove it from your favorites, click the heart icon again.
Note: The favorites settings are stored in your browser; so if you log into ShortStack on a different computer/in a different browser, you will need to re-establish your favorites.
Custom Domains
Your custom domains will appear on the right-hand side of the screen. Each info pane will show you the following:
- The URL of the domain
- When it was created/established on your account
- Whether or not the DNS is Verified or Unverified for the domain
- How many campaigns are using the domain
On the right side of the pane, an arrow can be clicked to open a drop-down menu with more options for managing the domain.
Additional Custom Domain Options
By clicking the arrow to open the drop-down menu on the right-hand side of any domain, you'll get these additional options:
Change Version
If you're a long-time user of ShortStack, you may have campaigns published using the S1 version of our Builder. You can use this option to change the domain from S1 to S2. Do note that the domain will need to be re-verified after it is switched. Just select Change Version from the dropdown, then click Confirm.
Delete
By clicking Delete, you can remove the custom domain from your account entirely. This does not delete any campaigns that may have been published to the domain. This option will only be available if any campaigns that were published to the domain are completely unpublished/uninstalled.
Note: Deleting a custom domain isn't isn't technically permanent; but if you delete it, you will have to re-add it the next time you want to use it to publish a campaign.
