These features available on All Plans (except where noted)
Overview
ShortStack collects and stores all of your entry data. In addition to storing this data, we provide easy export options via .csv files or .zip files for media. This guide covers the steps to export your entries.
Getting There
To export your entries, you need to access your Entries Manager. There are two ways to get there:
- From the Home screen, click Manage in the main menu, then select Entries from the drop-down.
- In the Campaign Builder, access your entries via the Form Container Widget (or Entry Display Widget) in the Edit Widgets Panel. Click the inbox icon, which displays the number of entries.
Export Entries
Step 1: Filter for a Specific Campaign
If you accessed the Entries Manager from the Campaign Builder, the list is already selected. If not, use the filtering option to select the specific list you want to export.
Important: If no filter is applied, all entries in your account will be exported, which may take time depending on the volume of stored entries.
Step 2: Export Your Entries
- Once the list is selected, click on the Actions dropdown.
- Select Export.
- Choose your export format:
- .csv file
- .zip file (for media)
- Both
- Click Next.
- Select whether you want to use an export profile (see details below).
- If using an export profile, select or create your export profile.
- Enter the email address where you want to receive the export. Click Export.
Step 3: Download the File
Once the export is ready, you will receive a notification in ShortStack and an email.
You can download the file(s) in two ways:
- Click the bell icon in ShortStack, then select "Exported Entries Ready" to start the download.
- Use the download link provided in the email.
Export Profiles
This feature available on the Pro Plan
When exporting entries, your file may contain numerous columns, including fields you did not use. To export only specific fields, use Export Profiles.
