These features available on All Plans (except where noted)
Overview
The Emails Manager allows you to create, edit, manage, archive, and delete your emails while providing insights into their performance. Below is everything you need to navigate and use the Emails Manager effectively.
Getting There

From the Home Screen:
- Click Manage in the main menu, then select Emails from the dropdown.

If Favorited:
- Simply click Emails in the top bar of the Home screen.
Note: Favoriting adds a direct link to the Emails Manager on your Home screen. To favorite, click the heart icon next to "Emails" at the top of the page.
Emails Manager Layout
- New Email Button: Create a new email by clicking this button in the top-right corner.

Scoreboard: Displays stats from the past 4 weeks, including:
- Emails Sent: The total number of emails sent.
- Open Rate: The percentage of emails opened by recipients.
- Email Clicks: The number of clicks on links within your emails.
- Last 7 Days Stats: Shown in the bottom-right of each pane.
Email Info Panes
Each email is displayed as an info pane, providing:
- Email Name: Click to open and edit the email in the Email Builder.
- Timestamps: When the email was created and last updated.
- Status: Whether the email is Active or Inactive.

Associated Lists: Displays the list(s) the email is attached to.
- Clicking the list name opens it in the Lists Manager.

Send Count: Number of entries the email has been sent to.
- Clicking the number opens the email’s Analytics (Pro Plan or higher).
Additional options are available via the dropdown menu on each email pane or by clicking the icon on the right.
Managing Emails
Editing, Renaming, and Duplicating Emails
- Edit Email: Click the email name or the edit icon to open it in the Email Builder.
- Rename Email: Hover over the name, click the edit icon, type the new name, and click the blue checkmark to save.
- Duplicate Email: Select Copy from the dropdown menu to create a new email using the same settings.
Additional Email Options

Analytics (Available on the Pro Plan):
- Access detailed stats, including emails sent, opened, clicked, and unsubscribed.

Permissions (Available on the Pro Plan):
- Use ShortStack for Teams to manage access levels for each email.

Archive:
- Hide an email without deleting it. Archived emails are only visible when the Show Archived checkbox is selected.

Delete:
- Permanently remove an email. Deleted emails cannot be restored, so archive them if unsure.
Filtering, Searching, and Sorting
Search Options
- Use the Search field to find emails by name or phrase.
- Tag Field (Pro Plan): Search emails by tags attached to them.
Filter Options
Filter emails by:
- Status: Active or inactive.
- Email Type: Autoresponder, follow-up, or scheduled emails.
- Company Profile: Filter by associated company profile.
- Archived Status: Show archived emails.
Clear filters by clicking the clear icon next to the filter name.
Sorting Options
Sort emails by:
- Recently Edited
- Status
- Scheduled
- Newest
- Oldest
Creating a New Email
To create a new email:
- Click the New Email button.
- The Email Builder will open in a pop-up.
- For detailed instructions, refer to the Emails section of the help docs.
Bulk Actions
When selecting one or more emails, the top bar provides additional actions:

Tag (Available on the Pro Plan):
- Add tags to multiple emails or view existing tags. Type tags separated by commas, press Enter, then click Save.

Archive:
- Archive selected emails to hide them from view. Restore archived emails by selecting Show Archived, then clicking Restore.

Delete:
- Permanently delete selected emails. You’ll be prompted to confirm by typing a short phrase.
Note: Deleting emails is irreversible. Always ensure you no longer need the email before deleting it.
