Overview
Use the Entry Count Widget to display the number of entries you've collected in a specific list on your campaign. You can use then use the Style Panel to stylize and format the count.
To add one of these widgets to your campaign, click the Entry Count Widget icon in the Add Widgets Panel, or click and drag the icon into your preview area.
Widget Settings
The widget settings popup is where you'll make any needed changes to your Entry Count Widget. To change the widget name, click on the pencil icon in the top-left (next to the name) then type your new name.
You will also see the CSS ID (starting with a #) of your new widget listed in the top-right corner of the popup.
You'll want to move through each item in the menu on the left side to make sure you've completely customized the Entry Count Widget in the way you'd like. You can navigate through these sections using the Back and Next buttons at the bottom.
When you're finished making changes to your widget, click the blue Save and Exit button.
Entry Source
The Entry Source section is where you'd select the source (the list) from which you'd like to display your entry count. You have two options - to select an existing list, or to create a new entry source.
To select a list, click on Connect to Existing Source:
Clicking the link will open a popup with a list of all the lists on your account. Simply scroll through the list (or use the Search field in the top right) to find the list you'd like to use. Then, just click on the list name to select it.
To create a brand new list, click on the Create New Entry Source button.
This will open the Create new list popup. Add a name, the number of test entries to create, and any tags you want attached to the new list using the fields provided, then click Create and Continue to Form Designer.
This will open the Form Designer, where you will set up your form according to what information you want to collect from your entrants. When you're finished, click the blue Save & Exit button.
More detailed info about this process can be found in the Form Designer help doc.
Filtering
You may wish to include all submitted entries in your entry count; or, if you prefer, you may wish to not include entries that haven't been approved. You'd control this in the Filtering section. Click either Include both approved and unapproved or Only include approved to switch back and forth between the two options.
Text
The Entry Count Widget doesn't contain a lot of text, but you can customize what text it does have in the Text section. One field allows you to change the verbiage for multiple entries received (the plural) and for only a single entry received (the singular). Just add your custom text to the field(s) on the right.
Visibility
If you'd like to limit visibility of the widget to a specific date and time, make the widget a popup, only show the widget in your Builder, or limit in which country/countries the widget can be seen; you'd do so in the Visibility section. More information about these settings can be found in the Widget Visibility help doc.
CSS Class
In this section, you can add a CSS Class that will be associated with the Entry Count Widget - that way you can target it with custom CSS code. Rules and naming conventions are provided so that you don't use a class that won't work. Simply add your CSS class(es) to the Extra CSS Classes field.
