Media Selector

Overview

In the Campaign Builder, whenever you'd like to add an image to your campaign—whether it be as a background to a widget, an image inside an Image Widget, or various other places—you'll be directed to the Media Selector to select the image you'd like to use.

In this guide, we'll walk you through how to:

• Upload your own image, including pasting directly from your clipboard.
• Use an image from the Pixabay or Pexels libraries available at no additional cost.
• Organize and find images using favorites, tags, filters, and keyboard shortcuts.

Getting There

Depending on where you are in the Campaign Builder, accessing the Media Selector will vary slightly:

When using the Image Widget:

Open the widget settings and enter the Setup section. There, click the Select Image icon to open the selector.

When changing the background of a container or widget:

Open the Style Panel, click the This [Widget Type] tab, then open the Widget section. Click the image icon next to the Widget Background Image field.

When adding an image to a Rich Text Widget:

Open the widget settings, then click on the Insert/Edit Image icon at the top of the rich text editor. In the pop-up, click the folder search icon to the right of the Source field.

Selecting Your Image

The Media Selector will pop up in its own window, and from here, you have multiple options:

• Use an existing image from Your uploads.
• Upload your own image.
• Paste an image directly from your clipboard.
• Enter a URL that points to an image online.
• Use an image from the Pixabay or Pexels stock image library.

The general process for all methods is the same:

1. Move the image into Your uploads.
2. Select the image you've moved to use in your campaign.

Finding and Organizing Your Images

Once images are in your library, you can use the following tools to organize and locate them:

Asset Count

The number of images in your library is displayed next to Your uploads in the left sidebar for a quick overview.

Search

Search for images by typing a word or phrase that's part of the image file's name. You can also press the / key to jump straight into the search bar.

Favorites

Mark images as Favorites to keep your most-used assets within easy reach. Favorited images are grouped under the Favorites item in the left sidebar.

Filtering

Narrow down your library using the filters along the top of the selector:

• File type: Show All images, or limit results to JPG, PNG, GIF, or SVG.
• Aspect ratio: Filter by Any, Landscape, Portrait, or Square.
• More filters: Click More filters to set a Minimum Size (width and height) and a Date Added range. Click Done to apply, or Clear to reset.

Sorting

Sort your images by Newest, Oldest, or by Name.

Tag Cloud

Browse your library by tag using the tag cloud, making it easy to surface related images at a glance.

Thumbnail Size

Use the size slider to adjust how large your thumbnails appear in the layout for easier browsing.

This slider doesn't affect the actual image size, only the thumbnail display.

Keyboard Shortcuts

Speed up navigation with keyboard shortcuts. Press / to search and Enter to select an image.

Using an Existing Image

If you've already uploaded your image, you're halfway done!

1. Open the Media Selector.
2. Click the thumbnail of the image you want to use (it will be highlighted with a blue outline).
3. Click Use Selected.

Uploading Your Own Image

There are several ways to upload your own image:

Drag and Drop

1. Drag the file from your desktop (or any accessible folder) into Your uploads.
2. Once uploaded, click the image to highlight it and click Use Selected.

File Selection

1. Click Upload at the top of the left sidebar.
2. Use the pop-up window to navigate and select the image from your computer.
3. Once uploaded, click the image to highlight it and click Use Selected.

Paste from Clipboard

1. Copy an image to your clipboard (for example, a screenshot or an image copied from a web page).
2. With the Media Selector open, paste using Ctrl + V (Windows) or Cmd + V (Mac).
3. The pasted image is added to Your uploads—select it and click Use Selected.

The maximum file size for an image is 10 MB. Accepted file formats: PNG, JPG, GIF, and SVG.

Entering an Image via URL

If the image is hosted online:

1. Click the link icon next to Upload in the left sidebar.
2. Enter or paste the image URL into the field.
3. Click Upload.

The image will appear in Your uploads, where you can select it and click Use Selected.

Using a Stock Image (Pixabay & Pexels)

You can use stock images from Pixabay and Pexels at no additional cost:

1. Under Stock Libraries in the left sidebar, click Pixabay or Pexels.
2. Use the search bar to filter through results and find an image.
3. Click the image you want and then click Save to Media Library.
4. Switch back to Your uploads, select the saved image, and click Use Selected.
