Getting There
Click Other in the main menu, then click Entry Profiles from the drop-down.
Layout
The Entry Profiles Manager is where you can view all of the entry profiles you've saved using the export wizard or layout settings in the Entries Manager.
Profiles
Your entry profiles will appear on the right-hand side. Each info pane will show you the following information:
- The name of the profile
- The last time the profile was edited
- When the profile was created
If you hover over the profile's name, you'll see a pencil icon to the right; click this to rename the profile. Type the new name, then click the blue checkmark button to lock it in.
To edit any of your profiles, click the profile's icon to open the profile editor.
There's also an arrow that opens a drop-down menu on the right with more options for managing the profile.
Additional Profile Options
By clicking the arrow to open the drop-down menu on the right-hand side of any theme, you'll get these additional options.
Permissions
If you're using ShortStack for Teams to grant access to your account content to other teammates, clicking Permissions is where you can set the specific access levels for your team members.
Delete
By clicking Delete, you can remove the profile from your account entirely. This doesn't remove any entries or lists displayed using the profile's settings - just the profile itself.
Note: Deleting profiles is permanent, so make sure you no longer need them before completing any deletions.
Search
Use the Search field in the top-left corner of the page to look through your profiles using a single word or phrase. The Tag field allows you to search through your profiles by simply typing in a tag that's attached to one or more profiles. Your results will automatically be displayed on the right.
Sorting
To sort the profiles, click the button next to the number of profiles at the top. Your options are to sort your profiles by Recently Edited, Newest, Oldest, Alphabetically (A to Z) or Reverse Alphabetically (Z to A).
Working With Profiles
There are other options available when working with profiles; you'll see a bar appear up top when you've clicked a profile to highlight it.
Tag
Clicking the Tag button will allow you to add tags to all of the selected profiles. It also has an area that shows you all the tags already applied to the profiles. Just type the tags you wish to add (with a comma between each), hit Enter/Return on your keyboard, then click the blue Save button.
